Last weeks IDEA World Fitness Expo went off with a bang. Not only did 4500 people attend the fitness convention, but for the first time, users from around the world were able to log on and watch a LIVE webcast. The convention had presenters from over 60 countries and over 430 available sessions teaching the newest most innovative fitness programs, and exercise routines as well as information on nutrition and metabolism. On august 31, 2008 Nike will host the first-ever global 10k. Nike+ users will be able to compete with runners worldwide in the first of its kind 10k run. As we all know, the Nike+ tracks users heart rate, distance, cadence and speed. But, how can over 1 Million people compete at the same time from thousands of teams and several different locations across the world?
